Contact Me Now for a Free Assessment of your Online Needs!
I am a skilled and experienced web designer and developer, photographer and instructor, and I've been in the business for over 15 years. I have taught in some of Alberta's and BC's top technical colleges including NAIT and BCIT, giving students the tools they need to succeed in this competitive field. Although I love to teach, the time has come for me to get back into the industry. Time to build websites!
Before starting my teaching career, I worked in e-learning for the Office of the Solicitor General, the City of Edmonton and Athabasca University. In 2005, I developed a very successfull online course for the Solicitor General that was submitted for the Premier's Award of Excellence.
I am skilled in,
- html
- css
- JavaScript/jQuery
- PHP/MySQL
- Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal content management systems
- PhotoShop and Illustrator
- Online learning and training
Teaching has given me great oral and written communication skills. I am adept at assessing people's needs, and finding them the resources they require. My time in the classroom has also made me organized and efficient.
I believe all code should be clean and comply to modern standards. I also like to have fun. So, do you have an online project, something extraordinary and original? A personal portfolio and blog, a business site or an e-commerce project? Contact me and let's make your vision come to life!
